More Than Just a Fashion Show
The Meet Africa Fashion Festival (MAFEST) is a premier continental fashion and culture festival that showcases the depth of African creativity in fashion design, modeling, textiles, and trading as well as the creative economy. It seeks to unveil the versatility of African arts and designs, celebrating Africa's fashion industry as a job and wealth creator, the second largest sector after agriculture.
MAFEST offers a platform to identify gaps, provide solutions, and build Africa's fashion empire. It serves as a launchpad for budding designers to present their collections alongside the biggest brands, while celebrating the inventiveness of African youths and women annually.
